Lovely to see our previously blogged RHS Chelsea Centenary flag working hard at the show this week :)
RHS Perfect for Pollinators launched this morning at Chelsea - with an identity designed by us.
The initiative is simple. The gardening world has spent too long worrying about which plants are good for gardeners - to the detriment of those insects that keep our planet ticking over.
RHS Perfect for Pollinators will help redress the balance. Aimed squarely at the trade, our mark will help garden centres and gardeners alike identify which plants are most likely to get our green patches buzzing.
There’s a lot of work for this campaign to do, both in terms of awareness and education – not least on behalf of all those pollinators that aren’t bees – so it’s ace to be involved.
Great too to see such, well, important work being done amidst the Chelsea photo opps (what was Gwyneth up to yesterday?).
Oh, and talking of photo opps. We’re told the launch is on BBC2 tonight.
The brilliant BBC New Wild Garden, with shipping container office by our friends at Green Roof Shelters. Lots of room for bees too, but more of that tomorrow.
Ace to see the revised RHS brand (not to mention their values) so well displayed at the RHS Experience.
More bees. There’s a buzz about…
